News.com.au recently reported that international music super-star Britney Spears takes a portable dentist chair everywhere.
The story states that the 30-year-old singer never likes to be too far away from her dental chair. A source told The Sun newspaper: “She’s got a portable dental chair and she loves it. It reclines so she can relax while they make her up.”

Recent archaeological studies have found that Native American people added jewels and decoration to their teeth nearly 2,500 years ago!
In southern North America, tribes people went to ancient “cosmetic dentists” to beautify their teeth with semiprecious gems, notches and grooves. This remarkable discovery was made when scientists were studying thousands of teeth in the collections of Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History. Scientists are unsure of the exact origin of most teeth in the collections, but they belonged to people living in the region called Mesoamerica before the Spanish conquests of the 1500s.

Replacing missing teeth with undetectable crowns and bridges…
Teeth were designed to complement each other. Unusual stresses are placed on the gums and other oral tissues when teeth are missing, causing a number of potentially harmful disorders. Our practice is the largest dental hygiene practice in California, with 7 highly qualified, professional Dental hygienists to help care for your smile.
Why is oral hygiene so important?
Did you know that adults over 35 lose more teeth to gum disease (periodontal disease) than from cavities. Three out of four adults are affected at some time in their life, but there is something we can do about it! The best way to prevent cavities and periodontal disease is by practicing optimum oral hygiene techniques and sticking to a strict oral care routine.
Until dental implants came along, the options for patients with missing teeth were few and far between.
Dental implants allow patients to restore their smiles and their confidence and say goodbye to dentures for good. For most, Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth.
Dental implants are changing the way people live!
With dental implants, patients can regain the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved.
What are dental implants?
The implants are tiny titanium posts which are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. The benefits speak for themselves:
- Help preserve facial structure preventing the bone deterioration when teeth are missing.
- Help patients rediscover the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life.
- Regain the ability to function normally as Dental Implants are the closest thing to natural teeth. Continue reading »
