- I’ve been going to this practice for over 25 years, I think. Dr. Hemm was great and very competent. However, he retired several years ago, and I was apprehensive about what would happen.Apprehension resolved: Dr Couch.First of all, this is a very friendly practice. The office staff is always very friendly, personable, and competent. Appointments are always scheduled with care, with the requisite reminder call. Second, all appointments are nearly always kept ON TIME.
Third, the hygienists are very good and friendly.
Finally, Dr Couch is very friendly and communicative. At every step along the way, either with a future procedure recommendation or in the middle of a current procedure, he always explains everything, and makes sure you understand what’s up.

- I love Dr Couch and all the staff in this office! The staff here is great, I can count on them to give me timely reminders and to take care of all insurance stuff BEFORE they do any procedure. During one of my visits they made a mistake told me my x-rays would be covered under insurance but they weren’t and the office covered the cost 100%. Some of you may say, “so what, they SHOULD” but if you know anything about doctor/dentist offices they’re mostly crooks and will NEVER admit wrongdoing let alone eat 100% of the cost.On to Dr Couch- he’s a great dentist who has slowly been replacing the inlays/crowns my last failure of a dentist put in. All the work he’s done for my has been great so far. He’s kind and caring but also a master of his craft. He’s also the first dentist who’s novacaine shot I don’t feel AT ALL and I’ve been to a lot of dentists. Although I swore I’d never go back to the valley, I still make the trek for Dr Couch. It’s worth it

- I would highly recommend Dr. Couch in Thousand Oaks to anyone who wants a caring, HONEST dentist. I first went to him because an endodontist referred me to him as one of the best cosmetic dentists. I was highly skeptical of cosmetic dentists, but I went based on the recommendation, and after a very thorough exam, Dr. Couch told me if I wanted to stay conservative with my darkened tooth, he could give me strong bleach instead. I was so surprised. I was so sure he would strongly recommend two veneers, like another dentist I went to – something that would cost me thousands of dollars. I kept going back to him for all of my dental needs, and he’s my only dentist. Every time I visit, he remembers my name, asks about my family members, gives me honest opinions about every question I ask, and always has a genuine, kind, caring smile. He’s truly the best, and so is his staff!

- Dr couch and the staff are awesome, i have been coming here for about 5 years after, like most people, bouncing from dentist to dentist.Dr Couch has done maybe 2 root canals and a filling or 2 on me over the years. But i go every 6 months or so for routine deep cleanings. Everyone is cool there and the prices are reasonable. Ill definately be coming here for a long time. One of the reviewers said he saw Steve Vai there, Dr. Couch told me he is his patient, but unfortunately i havent seen him but hope too.
